Thanks for the info...I will keep with the Immunocal for 2 mnths and
u do the same with the NAC and we can see which works...I definitely
don't plan on spending 66 bucks monthly indefinitely. I do have whey
protein powder at home too, but it tastes yuck..so I just skip it and
use the Soy protein powder in my shakes instead. I think all combos
work and I will be open to trying the NAC and maybe I will combine it
with the Lipoic acid as u suggested.

oh, yikes, thats wayy too expensive...i got 6 months worth of nac fr
about 30 bucks...and come to think of it...what is immunocal other
than protein w/ a ton of cysteine residues?here i'm taking getting
that cysteine straight away, through NAC

i think if you take NAC and other other thinks which increase
glutathione levels...like selenium, alpha lipoic acid, and milk
thistle , i guess thats good enough
btw...any of you who drink whey protein shakes, thats a good way of
increasing GLutathione levels too

short of going and taking the injection, theres not much else we
can do.
and sadeo..they use NAC for the same clinical trials...for the AIDS
patients, and i THINK they're trying it w/ people w/ neurological
disorders too.

Yes I ordered the Immunocal from Immunotec directly..'cos they offer
it at a discounted price. A month's supply (30 pouches) still comes
up to $66.40. I don't mind taking this powder form since I already
take Soy protein in powder form to balance my diet up a bit.

I also decided on Immunocal 'cos it was most certain to work if used
correctly...the peptides are suppose to be so unstable that one can
make them lose effect simply by taking them in a certain way. Anyway,
I will update everyone in 2 weeks as promised. I'm hoping it zaps my
allergies as well since this specific one (Immunocal) is used
extensively in managing AIDs and many forms of cancer.

well i do hate to be predictable, but i'm going to go ahead and
answer this question anyway:)

theorotically speaking ahmed, NAC should work, it will increase your
glutathione levels yes, i've been on my NAC+ vit C + selenium+
Alpha lipoic acid regimen for 2 weeks, and theres no visible
effect.it may be too early to tell....i did have a wee bit too much
to drink one friday and i did wake up the next day w/ absolutely no
hangover( which is slightly unusual :P), so i can safely attest to
the fact that my livers shipshape.my skin is looking better, its
rosier... and its more even, but that may be an effect of skinwhite,
i really cant say.

in summation...the guy whoze written a book on glutathione says the
best way to increase it is by taking NAC, but a downside to this is
you cant take too much...nac in larger doses ( more than 1200
mg...can cause side effects like vomitting and stuff)
ALWAYS take it w/ a meal.

Immunocal might be a good alternative, but taking it...it being in
powder form, can be a pain in the ass.i also dunno how much it
comes for.sadeo...ur using it right...how much did you buy it for?

I had an overwhelming amount of people interested in
buying my extra. Then I didn't know who to give how
many to, and who not to give to...got to be a little
more than I anticipated. So in all fairness decided it
would be easier to put it up on ebay for $24.99. That
way I don't have to choose who gets what and how many.
It also makes it a legitimate transaction with a
feedback process, so I don't have to worry about the
buyer not paying or you don't have to worry about me
being some phony(I know no one would ever think that
of me :)
The winning bidder will get to choose how many they
want of what I have, then the next bidder gets to
choose, etc. I take PayPal on ebay.

If anyone that lives in the US is interested in trying
out herbalinn before they buy in bulk, I have a few
extra jars since my friend backed out of her share. I
was actually kind of glad when she backed out, cause I
thought more for me - but my husband took care of that
notion and said no way is he paying for all that I
ordered.
I also bought a couple of extra to try to sell around
here locally to some indian friends, so email me if
you're interested.
